Joseph F. Coughlin, PhDJoseph Coughlin, PhD

Joseph F. Coughlin, PhD, is founder and director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology AgeLab. He teaches in MIT’s Department of Urban Studies & Planning and the Sloan School’s Advanced Management Program. Author of The Longevity Economy, Dr. Coughlin is also a member of the AARP Board of Directors. He is sought by nonprofits, major companies and governments around the world for opportunities to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families.
