High School Community Service Opportunities

UCH offers volunteer opportunities for high school students in senior care and nonprofit work

High school community service opportunities are available in an effort to help students gain valuable experience in the field of aging services. Opportunities in our Marion, Ohio central office provide a glimpse into the corporate headquarters of a national nonprofit. Opportunities in our housing and healthcare communities give older teens experience working alongside staff and older adult residents. Projects have included helping marketing with disbursement of materials from central office, and volunteering with memory care residents through the staff-guided program, Opening Minds Through Art.

For information and the contact person in your community, please contact Rev. Beth Long-Higgins.
